Fixed & variable price in cost estimate

Hi All,

I have defined fixed & variable price in KP 26 for a cost center/activity type

I do the cost estimate of a material. System shows the total & fixed price for the component.

Q: How system calculates the total & fixed price in the cost estimate?

Hi Mohit,

It takes the same logic in std cost estimate - ie as per you have given in kp26, the activity prices will be segregated to fixed. But f you look at the total fixed cost, this is also controlled by the cost component settings done in CCS (OKTZ). Also your overheads coming from costing sheets might have a fixed portion.

Consider all these factors in analysing the fixed cost in a std cost estimate of a product. Hope this helps.
