MANUFACTURING PROCESS -SAP B1

To All Viewers,

In our company , Manufacturing process is like bellow,

1. there are 100 of finish good item in our company

2. there are 5 factory to manufacture above 100 item under the company ( 20 item per one factory)

3. manufacturing process contain with 4 stages ( like P1,P2,P3,P4)

4. All of 5 factory use this all stages in manufacturing process

A- we try to use SAP B1 to our company ( company mean collection of 5 factory with 100 item)

B- In SAP under the company factory are used as separate series ( D1,D2,D3,D4,D5)

our requirement is,

1. P&L, Balance sheet for factory wise and as a group

2. All SAP Report for factory wise and as a group

3. separate stock report , counting factory wise & for group of company

can you give me instructions to use SAP in our group of company, tell me how to use 5 factory in our group of company to full fill above requirement,

HI Saman .

In this Situation , you have to go with the segmented Chat of Account.

Create the segment on the Factory Level.

Then go ahead . All your need will be resolved from it.

ASHISH,

thank you for your guide,

i am very sorry if i making trouble to you,

i red your link , got some idea about it, i feel it is limited to 10 segments,

that mean we can not add 11 factory to it, am i correct,

other one is how to handle BP with segment-is it valid one BP for all factory , can i get all report as factory wise, that is my requirement

if you can pls explain it

HI Saman ,

No , the Limitation of the number of segment is 15.

You can create you 11 Factory as 11 Segments.

In the BP part you can assign only one segment at a time ,

But it is freedom to choose the desired account of segments at the time of transaction , where you can also find the Customer and Vendor Liability Report Segment wise for a single BP.

Yes Saman , there is provision to get the Report Segment Wise in maximum numbers of reports.

Hi,

There is not any functionlity for stages in B1 you can make multiple level bom for this..For multiple companies you can make cost/Profit centre for this. Try in test company.
