create a reservation for movement type 711 or 712

dear experts

we want to create a reservation for movement type 711 or 712. but system get an error message

How can we create a reservation for inventory posting ( 711 or 712)

Is thre any applicaple solution?

P.S: If we change the field t156-rstyp, we can create a reservation but, this will be a change for standart SAP system which is not supported.

a reservation is for a planned goods issue.

inventory differences ocur unplanned.

what do you try to gain with a reservation for physical inventory differences?

Hi,

It's not possible in standard. It's being controlled by field T156-RSTYP. Mvt 711's T156-RSTYP is blank, which

means the movement type cannot be used to generate a reservation.

Use Tcode-OMJJ and under movt type 711/712 select the node allowed transaction and insert movt type MB21 and save it.Hence when u create reservation via MB21 u wll find the above movt types in the drop down menu.

no...even we add mb21, you can not still create reservation
