Asset transfer to another Profit center

Dears,

An asset was acquired with reference to PO account assignment category "A" in 10th period 2010.

the asset master record is having cost center for e.g. 1000, this cost center contains profit center 1000.

the depreciation was run until 02 period, 2011.

now i want to transfer this asset to another profit center 2000.

I tried with ABUMN & OASV but without success.

please suggest.

Dear Alex,

ABUMN:

When i try to transfer the asset to different account assignment i.e. different cost center that is having profit center 2000 using tcode ABUMN, getting the following error:

message no. AAPO102.

I tried to transfer the balance sheet values from using tcode OASV, but the transfer status is set to complete in IMG, though the system is allowing to change the status, but afraid of the consequences.

So other alternatives is being seeked.

Hi, as per AAPO102 message you've already posted retirement to asset. So reverse it, post abumn and retire new asset.

If there is no retirement then check treat

Thank you, It was resolved as the transferred has been done to new asset instead changing account assignments.
