Fixed - Result set is too large message in ADV. ANALYSIS OFFICE 1.0

Hi community.

Max cell per default - 500 000, but sometimes you business need more than 500K.

If you get this message in AAO, please do next step (information from sap support, thanks Carol from China):

On client PC set parameter in windows registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\AdvancedAnalysis\Settings\DataSource]

"ShowBicsSample"="True"

"ResultSetSizeLimit"="-1"

u201C-1u201D: limits from each server will control the data sources of this server>= 0: fixed limit for all data sources

NOT_EXIST: 500000 is default.

It is already available with SP7.

P.S.> Please keep in mind server memory consumption on heavy reportsu2026.

I cannot find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\AdvancedAnalysis\Settings\DataSource folder in my PC registry.

I am also facing the same issue.

Hi Everyone;

I am running advanced analysis reports on HANA as datasource and I am getting the message Size Limit of Result Set Exceeded whenever I have a larger output. I have noticed that in the admin guide and in other SCN posts about this setting in Windows Registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SAP\AdvancedAnalysis\Settings\DataSource]

"ShowBicsSample"="True"

"ResultSetSizeLimit"="-1"

But I am having hard time finding this setting in my windows registry; can someone help me understand why I don't have it in my registry? and how to find it and change this setting?

FYI...I am using Office 2010.
