Does SAP support transport of EDPP1 table entries for NW 7 and above?

Hi Experts,

We have a need to transport some partner profiles apart from the logical systems from the table EDPP1 from DEV to QA and PRD systems. I came across the note 182172 which gives the validation till 4.6D. I want to know if we transport the entries from ECC6, does SAP support this? Did any one perform this transport in SAP Netweaver 7.00 and above?

Also, is there any alternate approved method to update the table EDPP1 in QA and PRD systems?

Yes..I got a reply from SAP. It is valid for ECC 6 too.
