customized depreciation area start period

we have implement a new depreciation area 93(corporate depreciation area), our OAYC setting (last depreciation period) for book depreciation is 2006.5.

I have the requirement: the corporate depreciation area 93 starts from 2008.2.1, i.e, user not able to view this depreciation area before 2008.2.1.

we are not allowed to change OAYC setting, so we will keep this 93 depreciation area period as 0,0 , any solution?

generlly, how to set and change depreciation area start time?

That seems impossible to me... When your dep Start is specified as X, you cant upload values as of Y for Dep Area 93

What bernhard is saying you can change dep start date in AS02 for Dep Area 93 to Y.. This will start the dep calculation from Y

No, all the assets under this company code, for depreciation area 93, we can only see after period : Y.

individual asset can have different dep. start day for area 93, but what I try to say is this depreciation area 93 is only implemented after Y, my objective is to know which t-code or program can set this Y, so I can decide whether I can change it to Z to meet the requirement

No, I check four assets, they are not the same, for example one asset at this depreciation area dep. start day is 2007.5.1, but I can only see in AW01N depreciation data from 2008 Feb onwards for 93 depreciation area.

how a customized depreciation area start day is defined, oayc fiscal year is blank for 93
