Using vkp5 to calculate the purchasing price based on the sales price.

Hi,

My client works in a market where the sales prices are dictated by the government (yes, medicines). With some suppliers they have an agreement where they get a fixed margin.

Is there a way that I can tweek VKP5 so that I can calculate the purchasing based on the sales price and a fixed margin?

Hi,

There is a possibility that you can use PP determination sequence 06 - Customer specified function module. Change/Assign FM in

*Logistics General - Retail Pricing -Sales Price Calculation - Maintain Purchase Price Determination Sequences *

Once the function module is assigned here, you can use that in VKP5 to calculate purchase price.
