Dear Gurus,
Our MaxDB backup is getting failed with error "access denied [5] [-903]".
OS :- Win 2003 Ent.
Please help ASAP

the error -903 mean Host file I/O error. Have you checked the kerneldiag file for more details? and check the backup device is functioning correctly.

We have checked the log and found error code -24988.
We have to take backup on same server different Drive.

dbm command "medium_gelall"
What medium you used to create database backup?

The Windows operating system (OS) error code that is displayed in brackets is [5] (corresponds to 'Access is denied.').
What users and groups have permissions to write, create file on this drive?
