TECO status related Qus.

Hi All,

I have changed status of wbs to TECO and this wbs is already assigned to network activity that has an existing requisition(PR)/PO in it.

now after doing TECO STATUS for wbs, again i went in network activity and tried to create new purchase requisition(PR) on same activity it is allowing to create new PR.

Can some confirm me whether it is an error or as per standerd of SAP it is correct.

Hi,

Once you TECO you can't raise PR, thats standards,

Also if Open PR(Not converted to PO) are there, those also get deleted upon TECO.

I have TECO only WBS (activity is not in TECO)

But in my system activity is allowing to create new PR after TECO ing to WBS.

then what is the reason and how can i rectify it.

If your activity is not complete (TECO) then you can raise a PR/PO

This is as per standard

You should not be able to create PR/PO for the WBS which is TECO

The answer lies in your own statement,

I have TECO only WBS (activity is not in TECO)

If the activity is not having TECO status system will allow you to create PR/PO. In your case it wont allow to create PR/PO for the WBS since it is in TECO status.

i am able to create new PR in existing activity (if wbs is already assigned). what will be the reason

and its resolution.

Hi,

That's standard although wbs not TECO, sine activity is not TECO you can raise PR.

If you raise PR with account categoty "L" by assigning material to activity through CJ20N , system would not allow you to proceed since it is a PR for WBS which is TECO
