suppress the front end Printer POPUP

Hi All,

I am working on a output type at VA03.

I have called a std program to convert output to PDF in the driver program of my smartform.

thats working fine.....I have also suppressed the Output Device POPUP by passing the parameters to the FM of smartform..

But the issue is....... i am getting another POPUP for Frontend Printer selection and

I dont want to print .....i want ot avoid/hide that popup......becoz i have already downloaded that output in PDF format.

Please suggest me..

Hi,

In the definition of the output device in transaction SPAD, select the checkbox 'No Device Selection at Frontend'. You will find this under the tab 'Access Method'.

Hi,

first you must activate default printer as a pdf writer in your windows system in the control panel.

then following config need to do.

1) goto the SPAD t.code give the output devices click display button.

2) Click the Access Method tab.

3) in the Host Spool Access Method select G: front end printing with control Tech.

instead of F you should select G in the Host Spool Access Method . Better sit with BASIS guy and do the thinks.
