Hello,
I'm in the proccess of installing SAP Netweaver '04 SR1 Java Add-In for ABAB but get stuck in step 26 "Start SAP J2EE Engine".
As far as I can say, the appropriate parameters to start the J2EE-Engine are simply not set by the setup routine in the instance profile of my already existing ABAP central instance.
The installation guide does not give any hints, if and how the profiles should me modified, so I assumed this is done by sapinst.
Anyone with any recommendations?
Hi,
Its a regular problem while installing the Java Add-in.
Dont stop the installation of Java add-in..leave that error screen as it is.. just login to OS level.
and start the Engine manually.... then repeat the installation process.....
i believe its a back door process but it will works...

Srini

Hi,
I had experienced similar problem while installation java stack. Logon to the server and stop and restart the j2ee engine(stopsap j2ee and startsap j2ee). The startup of j2ee always will take some time. So please wait for atleast 15 minutes and restart the installation.
Regards
Sachin
