where to find UA_SE16N_START in ECC6 EHP4 ?

Hello,

I'm working on SAP HR ECC6. I used to perform a lot of modifications in some tables using SA38 / UA_SE16N_START.

But since we've upgraded to ECC6 +EHP4 : SAP tells me that UA_SE16N_START is now obsolete and i should use SE16 !?

Do someone know witch program should I use now, to perform the same work that UA_SE16N_START used to do ?

Is there something I could use in SE16 ?

PS : Tcode : se16n do not work.

I vaguely remember that SAP has removed some nasty options like "&sap_edit" in one of the enhancement packages, this might be just another sympton. You can edit table entries through SE16 as well, if the table settings allow. If they don't allow direct maintenance, then you are supposed to use other means like SM30, view cluster, customizing or application transactions.

My compagny won't buy some extra enhancement package (only the legal SP).

So I think I've lost my favorite way to edit big tables in HR.

Editing table via SE16 is not allowed in my compagny, only via sm30, but it's not as helpful as SE16n...

Do you know how to allow direct maintenance for some tables in SE16 ?
