can anybody explain me what is the difference between VI01-Header & item conditions? (For Direct leg)
Header condition is applied for whole document where as item condition is for each leg/stage
Is it mandatory to have both header & item conditions in shipment cost document?Actually I have to enter pricing conditions both at header & item level.
No it's not mandatory as it totally depends on your business requirement
As transportation charges are calculated on basis of leg/stage (Example - singapore to malaysia) so we can keep condition at item level
Where as clearing charges are not on basis of leg/stage so we will keep this condition at header level
Would it be ok if I remove shipment cost relevence and enter price at iem level only?
you have to make shipment cost relevence indicator at header or leg in T_57
If you maintain at both level and at time of shipment cost you maintained price at item level only then it can be acceptable.
