Hi,
Can any one tell the difference between the access in E-Sourcing Production and E-Sourcing Staging.
Which is good for beginners when they wanted to contribute and learn much on scripting and querying.
Please help.
Thanks,
Sharmele.
Hello,
Stagging is for testing purpose and production is live application . if you want to do any testing yo need to do it on stage enviorment.first test your script and query into stagging than move to production.
In ESO stagging is behaving as a development system as well as Quality system.
and for learning definately you go throw stagging because production is a live system.
Thanks,
RItu

Hi,
Just be careful when you play around in a staging system. Any system used as a playground should definitely be on a strict object migration strategy (e.g. only migrate single objects, never a complete dataset) to prevent any play objects from being accidentally migrated to production. In addition, you might want to perform a refresh of the staging database from production prior to any significant future development activities.
I might even recommend setting up a sandbox environment for playing around.
