Hi

When I am maintaining condition record for JEC2 @ 2% system is giving me error as "Tax indicator J5 has percentage rate         14.000".System is allowing to maintin condition record for JMIP but not for JEC2@ 2% and JSEI @ 1%.I am using TAXINN procedure.

Please suggest a way out.

Hi,

What is JEC2 & JSEI condition type represents!

As you are geting message as error which in turn you already maintaioned condition record with tax code for condition type JEC2 in FV11 t.code. If you want tax % to be chnaged, then use t.code: FV12 and change the tax % with condition type JEC2 with tax code.

Hi Bijay

My tax code has following description and component :-

J5 Decutable Input VAT - I/P VAT (14%)

Components :-

JMIP - 10% Inv %:Basic ED

JEC2 - 2% A/P Inv: Edu. Cess

JSEI - 1% A/PInv:High Edu Cess

JVRE - 14% Raw Matl. Deduct:VAT

First I created tax code in FTXP without giving any percentage in FTXP.Then I have maintained condition records for JVRE,JMIP in FV11 but when I am maintianing condition record JEC2 and JSEI system is giving me error as "Tax indicator J5 has percentage rate 14.000".

I have checked no condition record has been maintained for JEC2 and JSEI for J5 tax code.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Not clear your question!

####1

If tax code J5 is a Deductable Input VAT, then only maintained condition record with tax code J5 for condition type JVRE in FV11 t.code

####2

If tax code J5 is a Deductable Input VAT with Excise taxes, then maintained condition record with tax code J5 for condition types JMIP , JEC2, JSEI & JVRE in FV11 t.code. As you said not possible for you to maintained condition record with condition type JEC2 & JSEI, then check condition type JEC2 & JSEI is there in your tax procedure( TAXINN)

Also check condition type JEC2 & JSEI is there in classify condition types in following path where you specify which condition type is used for which sort of tax.

SPRO --> Logistics general > tax on Goods Movements> India > Classify Condition Types>Condition-Based Excise Determination

Hi Bijay

In classification of condition type JEC2 and JSEI is correctly maintained but system is only calculation JMIP and not JEC2 and JSEI in PO.

Any suggestion.

Hi,

Did you maintained the condition record for condition types JMX1 & JMX2, if not just maintain the condition record for JMX1 & JMX2 as 100% respectively in FV11 t.code.

It seems you have selected key combination 'Tax classification'.

Go to FV11, put your condition, press enter. Default rate 14 will come. Save it.

Now again goto FV12 for the same condition & change the rate from 14 to 2.

Hi,

Come out once and then go to FV11 and maintain, it will allow.
