Change in cost center Validity Period

Hi gurus,

I have created few cost center.But now I want to make a change in cost center.Suppose I created cost center x validity Period from 1993 to 1999 but now mine requriment is from 1980 so I want to make change in Validity period and It should be from 1980 to 1999.

But System not allowing me to do change in Validity period through T code KS02.Its showing only in display mode.

Please help me in this that how we can make a change in Validity period.

Hi,

From KS02, Edit > Analysis Period > click on button 'Other analysis period' > Valid from a new date, e.g. dd.mm.1980

Now the cost centre master data with the new validity period dd.mm.1980 to 31.12.9999 are shown.

-> Change any field (e.g. cost center name/descript) or other input field because only then will a separate master be created under the new validity date -> last but not least 'Save' the changes.

Hi Manu ,

Please create the Cost Center again ( Ks01) from 1980 to 1992 . This is fufil your requirement ..

You will then have the cost centers from 1980 to 1999 ..

Please revert back for any further clarifications

Hi,

Create same cost center in KS01 with validity period from 1980 to 1992 then it will be valid from 1980 to 1999.
