Disabling Prompt Window

Former Member

I have a Crystal Report which is called from a portal via OpenDoc. The OpenDoc call passes the parameters to the report, hence the report opens in CR viewer without the prompt window coming up. However, when the user clicks the refresh button, the prompt window comes up.

Is there any way to disable the prompt window from coming up when the report is manually refreshed? Or, is there a way to refresh the report with the same parameters so that the prompt window does not come up even when the user clicks on refresh button? Or, it is possible to disable to refresh button on CR viewer?

Thanks for your help!

hi Kashif,

there's a couple of ways to make this happen...

a) you can hide the toolbar using an opendocument parameter...please see [here|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/17569] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];

b) you can use the webelements function library [here |]to hide the refresh button or any of the other buttons in the toolbar
