Connect to 4.6c with external applications

Hello everyone,

we are using web services to connect our mobile applications to NW7.0 releases. Now we have a customer that still uses 4.6c SAP systems (with extended maintenance licenses). Is there a way to call remote function modules from external systems on that release?

Hi,

You can also develop a .NET web service wich uses SAP .NET connector to call Abap function modules via RFC.

This would be much simpler than installing a PI system If you don't have it already.

Hi Alej,

You could get this right if the customer has SAP PI (Process Integration) in their landscape. SAP PI can web service enable the SAP function modules.
