quota arrangement

Hi,

i have a scenario case as below using quota arrangement:

i set quota arrangement with supplier A = 70%, B= 30%; validity June 2011 to June 2020.

if i have demand total of 100k, it split to 70k and 30k to supplier accordingly. then supplier A made confirmation up to 70k and supplier B did not make any confirmation.

question:

1) when demand upside and dropped to 60k, will MRP driven supplier A to push out and split accordingly between 2 supplier?

2) after supplier A confirmed 70k and change allocations % to 50% and 50%, will system pushed out supplier A qty and pull in supplier B qty?

Best way is to test the scenario, as there are many setting in MRP whcih direct the process in different ways. So it is difficult to foresee the solution.

If the requirement is firmed then there will be no changes, even though the PO is confirmed or not. PO confirmation only drives the availability of the material on a date. If the vendor denies the supply then the PO should be deleted, so that MRP can reperform the calculations and process a different planning results.
