What are the U and the S tables for?

Former Member

Hallo Everybody,

everybody know the normal SBO Tables, which begins with an O (like OITM for Item Master Data).

Also i know the tables which begins with the A. Those are History Tables.

But what are the meaning of the Tables which begins with an S (like SITM) or with an U (like UITM) ?

Those Tables are empty in the Database.

What they are for?

Best Regards and thanks for your help,

Sebastian

Hello Sebastian,

What is your B1 version and PL?

Are there records in those tables?

Thanks,

Hallo Gordon,

i'm working with SAP Business One Version 8.81 PL 4.

But this are regular SBO tabels. So, SITM and UITM also stands in the SDK as Item Tabels.

You have not answered my 2nd question: do you find any records in these tables?

I have checked that The table structure have slight differences between OITM & UITM. I would assume UITM is for pre-upgrade version OITM. That is useful for upgrading database.

Hallo Gordon,

no. I just write it in my first Post that these tables are empty. I have no entries in those tables.

And i just want to understand, what they are for.

Best regards and thanks for your help,

Sebastian

Sorry that I have not found that in your first posting.

I have checked these tables are not in the old database. They must be kept there for compatible reason because of version, localization changes.

In general, I would not care about any tables if they are empty.
