Generic application type

Can any one explain me what is GENERIC APPLICATION TYPE with examples.

Hi,

A generic application doesnt have any in-built templates. This means everything needs to be created from scratch. I am not sure about others, but I have never used this type yet.

Hi Srikant,

Generic applications are very less in use in BPC. These applications when created dont have logics behind them. They have to be created while moving ahead.

As for other applications, we can have other dimensions also apart from Account, Category, Entity and Time. But for this, we have only these four dimensions for use.
