Amount auto add 100 amount in report painter when I upload budget from KP06

Hi expert,

Would like to seek help, I wonder why the report painter (GRR1) display the amount by all cost element adding 100 for the budget when I upload budget KP06?

Please help.

Hi,

Is your controlling area currency and company code currency different?

first check which currency you are taking report Object Currency / Controlling Area Currency?

and also check what exchange rate type uses in customizing e.g. 'P'

also check maintained exchange rate for 'P'

Go to GRR2 and double click on the Column Header.. It will show you which Key Figure you have used

Hi expert,

Thank you for the information, do you have any ideas why when we run the report painter the system prompt out option to select the extraction with option the new report painter to display, the older report layout with date and time.

What is the mean for creation extraction in the GRR2 (report painter)?

Do you have any document/book on how to use report painter to create report etc?

Please advice.

Hi

Extraction is created so that next time you wanna see the report as of the same date - It will show you instantly.. This reduces the run time of the report

For example: I would like to display the fiscal year from the selection screen/input screen when execute the report which also will reflected to the element definition and will display the fiscal year also in the column text?

3) Kindly advise base on question 2, the variable that i use in element definition it will also display in selection screen?

4) When execute the report the first selection screen input parameter it obtain from where it is from element definition?

5) Please advice how to be done when report execute with first screen input selection will also reflect the element definition of column and rom with the selection of the fiscal year?

Hi,

1.- The variable for the year depends on the library in which you created the report. Each library works with certain tables.

To include the variable in the column header to display fiscal year which you have selected from the selection screen:

In the transaction GRR2, go to Extras ---> report texts ---> headers. Place in the part of the header where you want to place the fiscal year. Then, select Sel.parameters (selection parameters) button. After that, will apearecer a window (insert/change text variable). In that window you will be able to select the variables that you select in the selection screen (0BRYEAR for fiscal year or another).

2.- You can find more information about the characteristics with the transaction GR23. In that transaction select the library you want (example 8A2). You can see the characterisitics and the table to which they belong (GLPCT). This information will be very useful when you determinate the variable to be use in your report.

This library is the standard SAP library or cutomized? Which library should I use for the budget planning?

I would like to display the column text with fiscal year which is input from the selection screen for report painter.

Kindly advice is it possible to include the variable to the column text in report painter and how/waht is the step?

Hi,

The library that you should use to create a report with report painter depends on wich object (Internal Order, Cost Center, Profit Center) you have loaded the budget and what are your requirements for data analysis.

The main standard libraries are:

Profit Center: 8A2 (recommended for budget planning), 8A3 (individual items), 8A4 (drilldown, open items).

Cost Center: 1VK (Cost centers: Absorption Costing)

Internal Orders: 6O1

2)My conpany is using the Library 1CT-cost centers special reports with database table RWCOOM

(Report Table: Overhead Cost Controlling (Spec. Evaluation Cost Centers: Special Reports Evaluations)
