Hierarchy Data Model Query

Hi Gurus,

We have a requirement to create 4 levels hierarchy table, which contains Continent, Country, Region, City. Hierarchy structure should be as follows.

Continent

|

|----

---

Country

|

|------ Region

|

|----

---

City

and each level should have following fields Code, Name, Description.

Can any one please suggest me to create the hierarchy structure for this.

You knew answer

Code, Name, Description.

But for selection in Data Manager you need to set property Display Fields= "Yes" for fields Code and Name

or just for Name

Hi,

You can create manual hierarchies in SAP BI, for that you have to activate Hierachy check box in InfoObject tab and then you would be able to define levels. Or if you have this hierarchy in ECC then pull it from there.
