URL to display View on the WEB

Hi gurus,

We can always execute a particular query on the WEB via the URL - http://<FQDN>:<PORT_NO>/sap/bw/BEx?sap-language=EN&CMD=LDOC&INFOCUBE=<NAME OF INFOCUBE>&QUERY=<QUERY NAME>

However, can I open a view directly via a URL. I can do it with the help of a WEB Template. But is there a way to display a view without a web template on the WEB via a URL.

Awaiting your response.

rgds,

Sree

The URL you have given is a 3X URL. In BEX Web(7.0) world you can replace the ?QUERY=<QUERY NAME>

with ?INITIAL_STATE=VIEW&INITIAL_STATE-VIEW=<View Name>

Hi Vineet,

Thankyou for your response. However, I am using a 3.x query view. Can you please help me with the actual URL. I am trying to use the URL - http://<FQDN>:<PORT_NO>/sap/bw/BEx?sap-language=EN&CMD=LDOC&INFOCUBE=<NAME OF INFOCUBE>&?INITIAL_STATE=VIEW&INITIAL_STATE-VIEW=<View Name> but to no avail. I receive an error stating The requested query <A query tech name> does not exist on the current server. The query mentioned in the error is not the query used for creating a view (Its a generic query called - long time trends for query usage)

Request assistance.

Rgds,

Sree
