I have also read one of the threads in links mentioned below-

The thread has not exactly been answered. All I get is it is related to Kernel level. The installation is currently stuck.

Please sugest.

To resolve this error, could you please check if you have done the following steps:

1. Create user SAPJSF,J2EE_ADMIN,J2EE_GUEST in SU01 as per following link

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/de/8f/67d27676ace84080964d4c4223bb3c/frameset.htm

user SAPJSF Role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO

user J2EE_ADMIN Role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN

user J2EE_GUEST Role SAP_J2EE_GUEST

2. Please do the following in your Keydb.xml file

a) Search for string SAPINST_INST_STATUS.

b) Under this string, search for string ERROR.

c) Replace ERROR by OK.

d) Save your settings.

3. Restart sapinst.

This is a problem with Windows SAP Kernel, please, don't forget to update this kernel to the latest version too.

Hi Mateus Pedroso,

Like previously said I am unable to login to ABAP stack because of installation of solution manager is still on and stuck at create java users phase( The Installation logs are provided in my first post). So I cant create the user in abap stack.

Following is the Kernel Version as per DVD whch I am using :-

DVD_KERNEL:SAP Kernel 7.01

HI Gurus,

I have found following trace:-

trc file: "F:\usr\sap\SMN\DVEBMGS00\work\dev_jlaunch", trc level: 1, release: "701"

-

node name : jlaunch

system name : SMN

system nr. : 00

arguments :

arg[00] : jlaunch

arg[01] : pf=F:\usr\sap\SMN\SYS\profile\SMN_DVEBMGS00_SOLMAN

[Thr 1628] Wed Jun 08 10:07:40 2011

[Thr 1628] JLaunchCloseProgram: good bye (exitcode = -3)

It is clearly saying that the OS release is not supported by this kernel.

Can you please specify the kernel for this OS release.

Please suggest.

You forgot to generate a custom kernel DVD for Windows 2008 R2 according to

Note 1486772 - SAP Systems on Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi Gurus,

Thanks for your quick replies and support.Your guidence helped me allot in finding the problem and then resolving it.

I have downloaded and upgraded the kernel.

By following steps:-

1.Stopping Solman Installation.

2.Stop Solman Instance.

3.Stop Solman related OS Services.

4.Upgrade the Kernel.

5.Starting SAP.

6.Starting Installation with "continue from previous" option.

Hi,

have you implemented the note Note 1126481 - SAP installation terminates in step createJSF? I hope you can connect the abap stack by sapgui, login using your ddic user?

Please update.

Thanks,

Hi Jansi,

I am unable to connect to SAP system(like previously said) via SAPGUI because of SAP installation. So cannot apply the Note:1126481 - SAP installation terminates in step createJSF.

Hi

I am nt exaclty sure, do u hav latest JDK installed, Java environmental variable set?

and i found this sap note Note 1126481 - SAP installation terminates in step createJSF, this is very old. But you can manually create it from Abap (logon with the DDIC user), as Type: Communication User, and Role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO

or as per the note 492208 create the user by through the 'PRGN_J2EE_CREATE_SERVICE_USER'

Thanks,

Jansi

Hi Jansi,

Following is the version of java installed

java version "1.4.2_27"

Following is the environment variable

JAVA_HOME=C:\j2sdk1.4.2_27-x64

That is already set.

I am unable to connect to Solman as the installation is still stuck at that phase.

Please Suggest
