configuration of hourly wage

Hi All

I wish to configure hourly wage for one of the employee subgroup. Plz guide me through the process of it. Is it the same process followed for the salaried employee apart from changing the ESG grouping to 1?

Hourly wage can you please let us know in detail the reason are u going for only one wagetype , if yes what about other wag etypes

I dont want to configure only one wage type. the wage type components that will be there as follows:

1. Basic

2. HRA

3. D.A.

4. Special Allowance.

But it has to be calculated in hourly rate.

Does the payroll is for India if yes How would you mange the Statutory Caluculations which is based on Calendar days ?

Can you give an example how you want to go exactly ?

Its for contract employees who are in the payroll of the company (India). For them no statutory obligation is required.

in that case you go ahead with a special EG ESG and assign the 1 for employee grouping please test for couple of employee since i havent met with this requirement
