Transformation Version Check

Hello Expert,

Is there anyway to check the version management of the Transformations like ( Checking in ABAP program version management ) ? So that we can identify the List of Transport Request captured what changes are made in particular ( Fields level Routine or mapping ) in that Transformation .

I think this is the solution.

You cannot do an exact Version Management.

What you can do is:

1. Go to Extras tab in the Transformation.

2. Click on Display Generated Program (this is the prgm generated when the transformation is created/ activated)

3. In the program, go to the Utilities tab & check for Version

4. Click on Version Management. You'll be able to see the latest version of the program

5. What you can do now is a REMOTE Comparison of this program with a different system.

Try it out, hope it helps.

I had the same issue. I tried it, but didn't work. Remote comparison is possible but system answers generated program of transformationis not available in remote system.

Which service pack, EHP, etc.is necessary?
