Untracable Material Movement.

Dear Sap Gurus,

I am facing the situation where there is a stock movement being captured in MMBE which the movement of the material being stored in Plant 1000 and storage location GS01 and its under unrestricted stock.

Normally this material is store in Plant 1000 and storage location PS9 and never been stored in other storage location and it always have on order stock.

My question now is the material that stored in plant 1000 and storage location GS01 is not tracable where the stock movement from and when it is being posted into this storage location and cannot even trace the material document.

Have tried MB51 and mc.9 and no result shown, Want to know is there any other way to get the information of the particular transaction. You professional advised is very much appreciated.

Thank you

There cannot be a stock in a location without having a movement.

If the movement is not present in your system (MSEG table), then it was probably archived.

if the archive is accesible, then you can as well use MB51 to find this movement.

First try it by selecting the box "short documents" the lower section of the MB51 selection screen.

if that does not bring the movement then try it with selecting the box "Reread short documents in archive"
