Error during partner profile creation

Hello friends,

I am creating partner profile, wherein during creation of partner no. for partner type customer (KU)...system is asking to a enter a permitted partner nymber..I'm entering a number but system is not accepting that one.

how to check if its permitted or not.

Hi,

For partner type KU, the partner number should be a customer number.

Make sure that the customer number you are giving is there in the system (table KNA1) with address.

Hi,

In relation to the error can you have a look at the following

notes for a possible solution:

803696 Service provider with numeric key - error E0 342

429133 Error message E0342 when creating a partner agreeme

Can you also check if partner has been created in

transaction BD54.

What is the exact error message (with number)?
