Hi Rakesh,

Inspection point is assigned to inspection plan at header level and not at MIC level.

May I request you to elaborate your requirement. May possible that other work around would fulfil this.

Hi,

Inspection points are indeed assigned on the header level of the inspection plan. When performing results recording, however, it is not necessary to fill out results for all characteristics in every inspection point.

Hi,

As we are doing paint testing like Salt spray test , thickness checking , adhesion test , humidity testing etc.

where duration of salt spray test is 240 hours for which we have to take observation at every 24 hours and for other testing only one observation is there.

Hi,

Although I do not have any experience with this feature: maybe long-term inspection characteristics are a solution to your problem?

Hi,

To achieve this you have to do some configurations:-

You need to maintain one inspection point thru SPRO> Quality Management> Quality Planning> Inspection Planning>General--> Define Identifier for Inspection Point. Or you can use standard one (110) and put No. insp. points for char. summariz.

And attach this Inspection point in either in Inspection plan and recipes.

Then in Operation details tab in Recording view field select single values and summarized result (Default views)

Now when ever you want to result the inspection result you enter date and time you can do the same.
