We run MRP for a Storage Location whose replenishment is done from the Manin Storage Location by means of reservation.
Now the MRP generates new reservation for each item. But we desire to generate a single number out of it. Would you pls advice the possib ility of doing it?
When an SLoc is planned separately, the MRP planning is reorder-point. So if you want one reservation per month, then specify your replenishment-qty with estimated monthly quantity.
In MRP planning each supply element is dealt with individually, so you get one planned order/purchase requisition/reservation for each individual supply call.
That's how the system works; why is that a problem anyway?
The problem is that the Main stores gets a bunch of reservations daily from MRP and they need to process it individually. In my opinion there should be enhancement possible to have a single reservation generated.
