i activated version management in external Purchasing document and it is not triggering from "0" version to further version on its own . i.e., automatic triggering not happening.
Always remain in version "0" only though we are de-releasing fully and again changing qty and releasing fully.
What would be the root-cause?
Hi
Check for the document type the table and field name is given so that when ever the change are made new version will be generated.

Hi,
Please check for the following settings under Version Management :
SPRO>IMG>MM>Purchasing >version Management>
Click on Setup version management for external Purchase document
Highlight Document Category ""F" and the desired PO Document Type
Go to details and in Control Data Screen
Version Active and Version OK "0" both should be checked.
Save the settings and it should work.
Hope it helps,
Best regards
