Hello all,
I have created the CHARACTERISTICS: 1. PRTYPE with CEBAN and BSART
2. PRPLANT with CEBAN and WERKS
3. PRVALUE with CEBAN and GSWRT
and CLASS: PRRELEASE with relase starateygy 032
But when I try to create RELEASE GROUPS AA with class as PRRELEASE I am getting the below error.
Please check release classes (see long text)
Please help me to solve this.
Regards,
SA
Hi,
Check whether a release class for PR exsist or not.
Only one release class is possible for PR.
If a class already exsists, then add ur characteristics to that class and check.
When you create a PR with those specific characteristics, then it will be subjected to release procedure.

Divya

Hi,
You have created new release class for PR as PRRELEASE & now creating release group and assigning PRRELEASE (release class for PR), so you are getting error!
In your system already for PR release, a RELEASE CLASS FOR PR is created. So when you are assigning a new release class for PR as PRRELEASE ,system showing message.
You can use only ONE release class PR,ONE release class PO, ONE release class SES. Now either you can use old RELEASE CLASS FOR PR or you can delete 1st assignment of old RELEASE CLASS FOR PR to all release groups and then assign your new release class for PR as PRRELEASE with new Release Group.
