Confirmation Control Key

Hi Experts,

I just want to know the difference between Confirmation control keys "ANLI" and "IWS", and the use of "Shipping notification key (004)" and where i need to maintain this "004" and why ?

Using the confirmation control key "0004" means that you will be receiving materials against an inbound delivery.

This inbound delivery can be received either via EDI or can be manually created in the VL31N transaction.

VT01N is a shipping transaction and has no impact on the confirmation control key as this one is on the receiving side.

The difference between IWMS and ANLI I can't explain as I have not yet used these settings myself.

By looking at the configuration of these confirmation control key's I see that for these confirmation control key's the automatic creation of the inbound delivery is set which means that based on the PO the system can automatically generate an inbound delivery also for the IWMS the POD control is activated.
