ECC data

Dear All experts,

Am new to SAP BI world, i want to check the data in ECC by lookiing in to the BI side, i.e the details of the ECC where i can see.when i drill down it showing R1P Client , then how i should check the data in ECC ,i want reconcile with the report

Please Help me out to streem line in to SAP BI

Hi ,

You should first find the datasource in BW used in your flow .

then in R/3 go to t-code rsa3 and enter the datasource name , click on execute option or press F8 .

If you get 1000 records , change the Data Records/ Call option to 1000 and display Extr Calls to 100 .

Then execute .

You will get the records in R/3 .

You can also compare the data with tables ,

If it is a 2Lis datasource , then go to t-code SBIW -> find your data source -> in maintainace option you can find the comm. str of your datasource from which you will be able to find the underlying tables .

Also , for other data source you can check in Rso2 , you can find whether the datasource is created using a view or a function module ,

for datasource based on view -> GO TO SE12 and give the view name . you can find the underlying tables used for creating the DS :

you can check the contents of the table through the table option in SE12

hi,

Reconcile is the process of comparing the data in BI system and Source system(ECC).

1. You can do the reconcilation as compare the data from RSA3 by count the no of records with PSA data records.

2. You can do compare with the sum of filed(Ex: Netsales) in ECC side from RSA3 and BI side from CUBE manage data
