background jobs are deleting the history

HI all,

End user created new cvcs for new products and copied the history of old similar products into them using realignment. But at weekends background job deleted the history for those new products leaving empty cvcs behind. Can anybody tell me where exactly the problem might be occurring?

Hi,

Kindly check the process chain steps which are running in the background. There may be a need for delete CVC's and Add CVC steps in the process chain. Also make sure that initialize version step included to create time series objects for the new CVCs created from realignment.

I understand that there is a problem. however we will need more information. Background jobs as in what are those background jobs? More information into that will help us understand what can be a possible cause? Also, explain your setup so that we can try and help you.
