Hello,
We are using BI with HCM for reporting and are unsure whether we require the BI 7.0 add-on for SAP GUI. Is this add-on required for BI development? If so, why is this add-on necessary? Can't SAPGUI without the add-on suffice for BI development?

Hi Ftoobe,
You will need the add on to create reports (query designer) and if you will run the reports in excel, you'll need the BEx analyser.
You should have a look at help.sap.com to see what is BI.
