We are configuring UWL in a new EP 7 installation. Employees can create Leave requests and enter time in ESS. Managers get these work items in the UWL inboxes on the portal but when they click on them they get errors (two different ones depending on the type of work item).
When they click on a leave request in the Tasks the managers get
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://portal.company.com:8000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/ess~lea/LeaveRequestApprover call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
When clicking on the Time Approval work item to view it's details we get a popup that doesn't completely load. There's a red "x" where an image should appear and it says "Please wait..." but nothing happens.
We have configured 3 UWL Systems (actually 2 are default systems) as per SAP documentation:
AdHocSystem -- AdHocWorkflowConnector
ActionInbox -- ActionInboxConnector
SAP_ECC_HumanResources -- WebFlowConnector
Have we configured something incorrectly or left out a step?
Solved part of the problem. The System's "Web Application Server" property for the Web AS Host name was incorrect. I fixed that and we can open and approve/reject leave requests. HOWEVER, the inbox is not clearing the work items even after all Leave Requests are approved! Any ideas?
Also, the Time Approval still has the same problem as mentioned above.
