Talent Profile locking employee
We are running into some locking issues with the Talent Profile in Employee Self Service. The employee/central person is being locked as soon as the employee opens their talent profile and holds the lock until the profile is closed again. The talent profile locks are particularily causing problems for us when payroll is running. If employees are in their Talent Profiles when payroll starts, we are unable to process the payroll until the employee closes out of their Talent Profile.
Has anyone else found a way to deal with this issue?
Other ESS services seem to only lock the employee when the save button is clicked, resulting in a much shorter lock time. Is there a reason the talent profile can't do the same?
