Hello,
We have installed a couple of months ago a PLM 7.0 system in a ECC 6.0 EHP4 stack8. We have so many errors that we are thinking about upgrading PLM to 7.1. However, our PLM consultans has told us that this new release is in ECC 6.0 EHP5. Is this right? Do we have to upgrade the whole ECC to get the PLM release 7.1?
Thanks and best regards,
Ana

You have to upgrade to Enhancement pack 5 (EHP 5) only. This upgrade does not mean entire ECC 6.0 upgrade. The very concept of enhancement package means selective functionality upgrade instead of upgrading the entire system. It is much simpler than a complete ECC upgrade. Nothing to be scared of but yes it requires a plan and testing as well.
