Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the area 01

Hello ,

I am executing T.code migo with movement type 942 to trnasfer asset to Inventory . While doing this I am getting the error mgs

Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the area 01

Note:But this error deosnt arise when i take some new asseet which is recently created ( no depreciation is posted)

Kindly guide me to solve this issue

Hi,

Generally, the error AA629 raised when the transactions per "transaction type group" in one year are negative in balance and the definition of the transaction type group only allows positive values (that means TABWG-VZJSAL is '+').

As a workaround you can set TABWG-VZJSAL = '*'. In SM30 insert table view V_TABWG an double click on the related t.type group (note 19048).
