Initial Stock entry WM, LX19

This is regarding Initial stock entry to IM/WM. We are implementing SAP to a plant

We have plan as below

1. post 561 movement type for qty/material

2. Stocks will now be in Storage Type 998 and BIN AUFNAHME

Now how we move materials to sepcific physical Bins ? LX19 transaction can be used as i know

What should be input file format and how we excute LX19 please help [Since this is Bin to Bin transfer movement type must be 999 isnt it]

Please help on how to use LX19

Hello

You can use LSMW transaction with object 0220 Warehouse stock (WM) defined in first step.

It allows you

1. read input data in user defined format

2. re-map input fields to structure RLBES

When i execute LX19, i could see below

Session Name CREATE_LQUA

Logical Name of Dataset MM_WM_STOCK_TAKEOVER

Batch input

in Online Mode

Data from PC/Entire Connection

Can you please explain checkbox 'Data from PC/Entire Connection'

Where input file path need to be mentioned

Logical Name of Dataset

MM_WM_STOCK_TAKEOVER - The Logical file name of the data set.

This is maintained in the transaction FILE.

Then select Logical File Name Definition, Cross-Client and find MM_WM_STOCK_TAKEOVER.

Then double click the MM_WM_STOCK_TAKEOVER will show you the logical path which is GLOBAL_PATH default.

Then you select the Logical File Path Definition on the top and look for GLOBAL_PATH.

Then select GLOBAL_PATH and double click the Assignment of Physical Paths to Logical Path.

You will see Unix and Windows. Based on your environment, enter inside that.

There you can see the Physical Path for the location of the file.

If you want to change the default ones, create new ones and follow as per above. This is because the logical file names will be used by some objects. So it's better to create a new one

Structure of RLBES

Go to transaction SE11

Enter RLBES in the View.

So the data structure of the file should be created as per the structure.
