Hi Experts,

What does eTDS & E State TDS Code mean?

System does not allow me to add state without these codes.

any Help plz.

Hi ravi ,

This field is specific for India localization only.

You have to provide a unique eTDS state code in the setup.

which can be further used in eTDS return.

Hello Ravi,

When you using TDS addon and system aslo have check true for Whiholding tax allow in general setting,item master and business partner master data.

eTDS code use in when we deduct TDS amount for the vendor and this vendor also belong to this pre created state .

Actully TDS amount depost on national level ,but when we deposit TDS amount then this code also mention there .
