Selling Product A already in warehouse as Product B From Indian Factory

Hi

I have to design below Business Process.

We have Plant 7610 which Domestic Manaufacturing (CIN active)

Product A is manufactured and Brought to Ware house and RG1 is upadated using Movement type 101 for receipt(RMA)

After Few days Business realise that Products A which is lying in ware house can be changed to Product B by changing certain technical Properties. And Now they want to sell it as Product B to customer.

How to DO this in Indian Scnarion considering CIN entry.

Currently We are doing Finished Goods Disposal for Product A and then take it to Shop floor and change Propoerties and Label it as Product B and sell it to Customer...--BUT in this case Compnay has to pay Excise duty twice 1)at time of FG disposal and at time of sale to customer.

Can any body suggest alternative........

This physical activity cannot be captured in SAP in warehouse. To set right the data in SAP, you have to take back the stock in to parent plant and redespatch as product B. From excise point of view, this would be the right approach.

HI,

Check with your PP consultant , i think PRODUCT B could be treated some what like a trail assembly.

Regarding the excise you assign the product B direcly in J1ID, as the cost would include product A as well.
