SPRO-General Version Definition (Control Area Setting ) VS S_ALR_87005830

Dear expert,

Would like to seek for your help, as I am doubt that the maintain new budget version and fiscal year in General Version Overview in SPRO at the path Controlling->Organization->Maintain Version is different from the maintainyear setting in S_ALR_87005830.

As I had create the plan version fiscal year 2012 is appear in S_ALR_87005830 screen but not reflected in General Controlling

-> Organization -> Maintain Version and I wonder why this happen?

Please help.

Hi,

There are two transactions for version maintenance:

OKEQ(N) - all versions

OKEV(N) - in CO area only - S_ALR_87005830

S_ALR_87005830 "inherits" the current setting flag from OKEV(N).

Also refer note 372620

Hi ,

In Controlling->Organization->Maintain Version ..( OKEQ) we mainatin versions for controlling area settings , operating concern settings and Profit Center settings..

Please configure in OKEQ ..

S_ALR_87005830 is only for controlling area settings ...

I always update in OKEQ and it works...

Thank you for the promt reply, What I need to just to maintain the controlling area setting for the new budget version for fiscal year 2012.

Kindly advise why the new version with new fiscal year which I created in S_ALR_87005830 not display at OKEQ general version definition screen but the new version appear in S_ALR_87005830 ?
