Hi All

Please find the scenario i am trying to understand below:

1. I have a Production whose Procurement Type is "E" & SNP PRODUCTION HOIZON is 8, I understand this. HOWEVER populating the STOCK TRANSFER HORIZON also as 8 weeks will make sense or not . Remember all the data above is at the Plant Location (Not DC).

Best Regards

Mukta

Hi ,

SNP production horizon :

SNP production horizon only applicable for "E & X" material. menas only for inhouse produced material so that in this period PPDS will plan the inhouse material ( planned order) with detailed scheduling. with in this horizon SNP can not change or create planned orders.

SNP stock transfer horizon:

This is only applicable for externally procured material (F). it means that with in that period SNP can not generate stock transfer orders. If there is any shortage with in tis period it will create stock transfer after this period....

If you maintain both the setting for one material , then based on procurement type one will be used......
