What is LIEF in Vendor Master record ?

LIEF is a german abriviation for Lieferant which means vendor (from purchaing point of view)
KRED is a german abriviation for Kreditor which means creditor (more a financial point of view)

Hi,
LIEF means Vendor Account Group for External number range assignment. Suppose your company decided external number range for vendor at present you have to copy from the LIEF account group to your company vendor account group Z001 for Domestic Vendor and then assign external number range for that account group.

LIEF is an account group to be used with vendor masters with external number ranges. KRED is for internal.
