SAP GUI 720 upgrade issue

Hi all,

In our company we recently upgraded SAP GUI from 640 to 720 and we are facing 2 issues

1) After logging to Portal and selcting the workbook ,it is again asking for single sign on credentials of backend.

2) After selecting the work book we are getting a error message as " Microsoft excel is not installed; install microsoft excel viewer. ( Microsoft excel viewer is already installed on all systems).

Please suggest some solutions to get out of this problem as users are unable to access reports. Please suggest any work arounds for users to access reports other than through portal.

Hi,

To my understanding you have to upgrade your Microsoft Excel verion to 2007. SAP GUI may not work either for 2003 and 2010. Please ask your IT team to upgrade your Excel version to 2007.
