As we are on BPC NW 7.5 SP07

We are facing lot of issues where there is a need to apply necessary patch

If there is any release notes on SP08 and the fixes it is providing it will be more helpfull to think if there is a necessity to apply the patch on our system

i know there are around 13 fixes in the release notes but none of them apply to the issues we are facing

are there any more new notes that i can find

any inputs on this is appreciated

It appears that the SP08 central note(1563229) has not yet been released and is still in process, so not sure if you will be able to view this note or not. But this should list out all of the fixes included with SP08.

Does anybody is having problems with SP08?

One of problems is after implementing SP08, the ActionPane turns blank in Admin Console and Excel Client in non-English language environment (There still no solution for this, there is only a Workaround Note 1605394).

Other problem is when Creating BPFs. We get an Access Denied error for the file

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\PC_NW\log-configuration.xml. The solution is just give access to this file.

We have problems with simultaneously using functions EVGET, EVSND in SP07.

It has to still exist in SP08.

I forget to say that after the SP08 installation the system seems slower than before.

The Central Note for BPC 7.5 SP08 is 1563229.

Problem solved!

SAP released today an internal note to solve the problem in ActionPane in Portuguese (PT): Note 1610050

Its a new OSoftResActionPane_PT.dll.
